Tate's First Day on the Job

Let me set the scene....Everything was going well. Mom and David had cleaned the entire house that day while Mandy's only responsibility was to take care of Tate. It was getting close to dinnertime and Mandy was preparing potato soup to show her appreciation for their hard work. Becky was helping by peeling the potatoes in the sink. Suddenly, Becky says "uh oh" as the disposal is running. The disposal decided it did not like the task of shredding a sink full of peels and backed up. It was returning the peels to us on the left side of the sink...not good.
David the plumber was called in to take apart the pipes to release the clog. (A job that had been done twice before and neither were pleasant experiences.) Below are pictures of the plumber in action and his trusty assistant, Tate.
Oh, how I wish you could smell what came out of the pipes. ;)

Notice Tate in the background, hanging on to his dad's every word about how to fix the problem.

Did you get all of that, Tate?

I'm sorry David. I will never use that disposal again! I'm glad you had Tate nearby to help! That sure was good potato soup though!
"Momma Mandy" hasn't lost her touch!

Love ya,

Yeah, we learned about the potato peels the hard way, too. My dad clogged ours! We had to go door to door on Christmas morning asking for a plunger because, no, at the time we didn't own one. My mother in law has since informed me that you shouldn't put potato peels in the disposal (i think you just cant put them in cheap disposals, which we are the proud owners of)! Oh, Tate's adorable! Can't wait for more pics!
