Okay, so I mentioned we have had a lot of visitors in the last month. Well, one was not wanted. Let me set the scene....
David got up on a Thursday morning at 4:30 a.m. for Bible study as usual. He used the restroom and then stumbled to the sink to wash his hands. When he looked down to turn on the faucet, this was waiting in the sink to greet him...
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, a SCORPION! Of course the picture doesn't do it justice, but we did try to put it in perspective with the quarter. David said it looked so intimidating because it's tail was curled and his pincers were up and ready, that is, until David whacked it with a flip flop. Thankfully, we have not seen any more in the house. I hope it stays an isolated event.

**On a side note, I was so impressed that David didn't gasp loud enough for me to hear him or come wake me up to show it to me. He just put it in an empty soap bottle, covered the top in case it decided to come back to life, and then called me later that morning. :o)

Hey- seeing a scorpion as the first thing on your blog is OLD. At least put up a cute picture of Tate! :)

That is one ugly creature! We got them often when we moved into our house almost 9 years ago....new construction stirs them up!
